China International Software & Information Service Fair (CISIS 2005) Hailed as a Tremendous Success

CISIS 2005 was a great success. CISIS has already become the most important platform for IT talents at home and abroad to display the latest and most innovative products, connect supply and demand, and create a forum for market opportunities.

Gala Opening Ceremonies

CISIS 2005 was a gathering of worldwide multinational companies. More than 14 of the world's top 500 companies, including Microsoft, IBM, Intel, HP, Hitachi, NEC, Omron, Motorola, SAP and SK participated in this year’s show. Hundreds of domestic IT pioneers also sent their high-level managers to attend the event. CISIS has indeed become a networking platform for elite personnel at home and abroad. The event had prosperous outcomes. 200 companies signed large monetary contracts during the exhibition. According to a basic investigation, agreements were made for 300 projects among 200 companies, compared to 185 projects from 107 companies last year.

Ground-breaking Agreements

Although CISIS is a professional technology event and it targets IT professionals and high profile attendees, it surprisingly attracted the general public too. On the first day of the event, there were over 2,000 people registering on site to attend the event. By the third day, the number of people registering had doubled.

Fully Packed Conferences & Forums

The event also attracted many media companies. Over 300+ reporters from more than 100 media companies including People Daily, CCTV, Forbes and Reuters came to report on site about the expo. Sohu, Netease and Yahoo also broadcasted the event live online.

Being the only state level software fair, approved by the State Council, China International Software & Information Service Fair (CISIS) is held annually in Dalian which is the most famous software industry base and exportation base in China. CISIS 2005 is considered at the highest level, as the most effective and influential grand software and information service exhibition in China.

Held on June 23-26, 2005 at Dalian World Expo Center (New Hall of Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center, this fair is aimed at promoting international co-operation and communication, which pushes the development of China’s information industry. And it also endeavours to become the important platform for IT talents at home and abroad to release the latest technology, display the latest products, connect supply and demand, and create a forum for market opportunities.
